As a Product Manager, you will take ownership of the Analytics and Recommendations theme end to end, from ideation, through delivery and onto promotion & measuring results. The objective of leveraging machine learning is to increase our customers’ conversion and engagement metrics by recommending what layout and contents to include in the discovery experience, based on the audience and channel. You will work cross-functionally pretty much across the entire organization (data analysts & engineers, operations, design, marketing, success, services, sales), to prove value (or at least get fast learnings!) on the decisions you carry out.

Take ownership by:

• First and foremost, you ensure business impact through effective prioritisation in everything you drive you show.

  • Understanding and representing user needs

  • Monitor the market and developing competitive analyses

  • Articulate what success looks like for a product, track & measure back from that result

  • Take ownership from conception to delivery of the result

  • Inspire and rally design, data analysts & engineers, QA around the problem to solve

  • Define the requirements and collaborate on the approach to a solution

  • Plan and coordinate roll out to the customers with Success Managers and Marketing teams

• You can understand the strategy and from there prioritize effectively your pipeline over the next 3-6 months.

• You continuously build and maintain product awareness on all levels among teams.

  • Internal roadmap and release communication based on value

This challenge will suit you if:

• You have at least five years experience as a Product Manager with specific experience in B2B SaaS, bonus if in the MarTech space

• You have at least three years of experience in the retail industry - domain knowledge will really accelerate your understanding & contribution.

• You have a proven track record of successfully implementing machine learning-based recommendations to increase your user’s performance and/or speed metrics.

• You are able to balance being the voice of the customer while keeping in mind what will deliver value to the business

• You are a self-starter, proactivity is key for any role at Publitas, we work remotely and are scaling often with no defined processes in place, you are comfortable navigating in this environment and know how to unblock yourself

• You have expert-written & oral communication skills and the know-how to influence and inspire stakeholders internally and externally.

• You are able to define milestones, measure and track the success of the initiatives you drive in iterations

• Fluent in written and spoken English

• Strong preference for you to work in the European time zone as that is where most of the team is located
